📖 Rachel’s Haunting Breath
Rachel was discovered in the attic of a Tudor slated for demolition. Workers found the space filled with children’s drawings—none belonging to the current family. Every sketch depicted the same figure: a girl with hollow eyes, perched high above beds, staring down.
When Rachel was pulled from the attic, her porcelain dress was coated in dust, but her shoes were spotless.
Neighbors recalled hearing footsteps in the rafters at night, as though someone crawled across beams on all fours. In the weeks before the family vanished, they claimed they could hear “breathing” directly above them as they slept.
Since recovery, Rachel has been known to vanish when stored too close to ceilings, reappearing in lofts or crawl spaces. Her keepers say she leaves behind faint scratching, as though nails dragging across plaster.
